It's like, tennis is a metaphor for a relationship, and Tashi can't play tennis anymore so she makes Patrick and Art play for her, just like she made them kiss in the hotel room????

at the start of the movie, haruna says she looks forward to going to heaven and that she's accepted that she only had 6 months left to live. at the start of the movie, akito was on the roof deck contemplating whether to jump and wanted to end it all already because he found out he only had a year left to live. then after knowing each other, haruna says she doesn't want to die, even if it's just for a second longer, she wants to live longer, because of akito. and then akito changed his mind and told his parents he wanted to have the surgery that would lengthen the time he had left, even if it was only by a little, because he wanted to fulfill haruna's wish of him living a full life. in the love that they had for each other, they found reasons to live when they only had little time before they knew they had to die. and it's just such a beautiful story

These two scenes mean so much to me. Logan really believed that his purpose will be fulfilled only if he dies a hero and Wade didn't want to let him die. When they saved the world and survived, Logan wanted to walk away from Wade but Wade asked him to stay. Logan thought that he isn't going to get a happy ending and probably that he doesn't deserve one but Wade didn't want to lose him. Imagine how Logan felt, after so many years of being alone, to finally have a friend who actually cares about him and wants him to be happy.
